Verify TechSoup Registration
Before applying to Slack, ensure your organization is registered and validated with TechSoup. This is a mandatory requirement that serves as proof of your non-profit status.
Create Your Slack Workspace
If you haven't already, create a Slack workspace for your organization. The non-profit discount is applied at the workspace level, so you need an active workspace before applying.
Gather Required Information
Prepare your organization's legal name, physical address, website URL, and a brief description of your mission. Have your 501(c)(3) letter or equivalent documentation ready.
Submit Application
Complete the online application form through Slack's Help Center. Double-check all information for accuracy to avoid delays. One application per workspace is required.
Apply for Tax Exemption (US Only)
US-based non-profits can apply for tax-exempt status separately. Add Slack's information to your tax exemption certificate and email it to tax@slack.com.
