Check Slack's status page
Visit status.slack.com to see if there's a known outage
Test your internet connection
Try loading other websites to confirm internet is working
Try a different Slack client
If desktop fails, try web browser or mobile app
Fully quit (not just close) and restart the application
Help → Troubleshooting → Clear Cache and Restart
Help → Check for Updates
Test if network security tools are blocking Slack
